Thanks to Marian McGreevy, secretary of the Shimna Branch of the U3A, I recently had the good fortune to be invited to read an excerpt from Look Without Staring at one of Sean Donnelly’s private sessions. Sean is a well known local singer-songwriter and the setting was in his wife’s art gallery, which doubles as a music room for Sean. The format was music, storytelling, and reading. But what made a special evening even more special was the presence of the BBC team who produce and present Time of Our Lives, a magazine programme for Radio Ulster.
